About Fowey
This small Cornish town is approximately 35 miles south west of Plymouth, on the same coastline. Fowey is situated on the west side of the picturesque natural harbour which is considered to be an area of outstanding natural beauty. Across the estuary is Polruan which is equally picturesque, rising sharply out of the sea. Polruan is accessible by passenger ferry running from Fowey. The town offers a range of shops together with an aquarium and a variety of restaurants ensuring that there are plenty of things to do in Fowey.
